Another good year of gaming! We have our top 5s for 2022 but, we also played other games this month. Kyle takes orders from his weapons in High on Life. Soccer Story kicks sand in Dennis’s face. Michael protects mages to save the world in The Last Spell. Kyle gives his “put them on the box” reviews of Callisto Protocol and Marvel Midnight Suns. Dennis welcomes the waves of new “swarm survivor” games on the Steam Deck. Liquids are Kyle’s nemeses in Noita. Kyle confirms top-down horror survival is real deal in Darkwood.

A busy gaming November is the excuse for this being late—plus, Dennis and Kyle got Steam Decks! Dennis and Kyle played a bunch of God of War: Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022). Kyle herded rats in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Dennis was glued to the Steam Deck playing Vampire Survivors, Brotato, and Soccer Story. Kyle explored the horror of Signalis and the strangeness of Control. Everyone have a Happy Holidays and we’ll see you at the end of December with our Games of the Year.
